Here are some pictures of the new Surefire lights we got when we visited their booth yesterday.  The wristlight is impressive, and it looks like they improved on the original 2211 design by adding the watch.  The Surefire Annihilator has an impressive 4000 lumens with a run time of 2 hours, while weighing in at only 1.9lbs.

Streamlight TLR-1 HL Weaponslight (630 Lumens) at 2013 SHOT Show

Streamlight is coming out with a couple great lights at the SHOT Show.  Here is the information we have so far.  Paul visited the Streamlight booth today and we will update this post as we get pictures and tech specs.

Streamlight TLR-1 HL

This high lumen beast of a weapons mounted tactical light features a polymer build and C4 LED light that packs 630 lumens.  The TLR-1 HL also has a respectable 1.25 hour runtime considering the amount of light it puts out, and also comes with a strobe mode.  The rail clamp allows it to be rapidly attached and detached from a wide range of weapons.  There will also be variations of the TLR-1 HL with a red or green laser.  Another nice advantage of the HL is that it doesn’t have an oversized head like the HP versions of some Streamlight lights.  The Streamlight TLR-1 will run off standard Lithium 123A batteries.

We will keep you updated as we get more information.

Here is a picture we shot on his phone at the Streamlight booth:

Pics of EOTech Reaper Z and .300 Blackout / Whisper

We got some pics of the new Reaper Z and their .300 Blackout / Whisper Zero at the SHOT Show Range Day.  The EOTech Reaper Z looks to be a rebranded version of the Zombie Stopper, at least from the look we got of it.  The .300 Blackout / Whisper (XPS2-300) has a 2-dot ballistic drop reticle that allows the shooter to zero either subsonic or supersonic rounds.   It is also the shortest and lightest of EOTech’s holographic sights to date.

We are meeting with EOTech tomorrow and will get some more of the technical information for both holographic sights.

Surefire 4000 lumen Annihilator, 800 lumen P3X Fury and new X300 / X400 IR – 2013 SHOT Show

Surefire has announced their flashlight and weaponlight lineup for the 2013 SHOT Show and it has some incredible lights.  The list includes a 4000 lumen rechargeable flashlight, IR versions of the X300 and X400 and weaponlight version of the P2X Fury and a new 800 lumen P3X Fury.  Just don’t get too excited yet though, as many of the flashlights they announced at the 2012 SHOT Show still haven’t shipped yet.

Surefire Annihilator Flashlight – 4000 Lumens

Yes, you read that right.  The Surefire Annihilator comes in at 4000 lumens.  It will feature a rechargeable system with variable output to save on the battery draw when the blinding light is not needed.

Surefire E2D LED Defender Ultra Flashlight – 500 Lumens

A redesign of the E2D Defender, this Ultra version increases the lumens from 200 up to 500 with dual output.

Surefire P3X Fury Flashlight – 800 Lumens

One of our best selling flashlights of 2012 was the Surefire P2X Fury.  Building on the success of the 600 lumen P2X Fury, the P3X Fury boasts 800 lumens!  This should be a great flashlight.

Surefire P2X Fury Weaponlight Kit – 600 Lumens

Now here is a great idea.  Take one of the best flashlights of 2012 and turn it into a weaponlight.  600 lumens and it can still be removed and used as a handheld model.

Surefire P3X Fury Weaponlight Kit – 800 Lumens

Just like the P2X Fury version, but featuring their new P3X Fury at 800 lumens!

Surefire BSF Shotgun Forend – 200 or 500 Lumens

Completely redesigned, the BSF Shotgun Forend features an ultra-high, dual output mode LED that can hit up to 500 lumens.

Surefire X300 V IR LED Weaponlight – 150 Lumens

Building upon their X300, this weaponlight will feature a white light or IR light mode.

Surefire X400 V IR Laser LED Weaponlight – 150 Lumens

Featuring a 150 lumen white light and a IR laser sight, the Surefire X400V-IR has a lot going for it.  This could be why the X400-IR from the 2012 SHOT Show was never released.

EOTech Announcing Zombie Stopper II at 2013 SHOT Show?

We are hearing a rumor that EOTech is going to be coming out with a new Zombie Stopper model at the 2013 SHOT Show with a Reaper Z Pattern.  Love it or hate it, the Zombie Stopper was one of the most popular items from the 2012 SHOT Show.  We aren’t sure yet of how the Reaper Z is going to be featured as part of the holographic reticle or design, since it doesn’t match a dot configuration as far as we can tell.

This is what we currently know about the EOTech Zombie Stopper II:

  • Zombie HWS
  • Single CR123 battery
  • Biohazard reticle with 65MOA ring and 1MOA dot (Reaper Z pattern)

Doing some Google searches for Reaper Z, it seems like this graphic below is what it is based on.  It could be just the biohazard part that makes up the reticle, but we don’t have any more info that what is above so far.  We will keep our blog updated as we get more information.

Reaper Z Design (unconfirmed)
